I am from Calgary and I stayed at this hotel because of an event downtown. Very easy to get to and it’s not in the heart of the hustle and bustle but still walking distance to transit. It’s very clean and the art deco vibe was so cute. Plus the added safety feature with using your keycard to get into the hotel late at night was comforting. Definitely will recommend this hotel to those staying in the city!

Good: Wow wow wow. What a place. I absolutely loved this hotel so much, we stayed here 4 times when we came to Calgary and it never ceased to impress me. This hotel deserves to be in the top list for hotels to stay. Well done Hilton. Also they are dog friendly and very very accommodating to families with little kids and weddings/ celebrations. Rooms are huge, clean and smell so refreshing. The beds are so big and comfortable. The windows are my favorite. You can see all from the inside out, but none from the outside in because of the film they have over the windows. The shower and bathroom is equipped with everything you need. My favorite was the location. Having a dog on the trip and staying here made things sooooo easy. It is right next to the river and tons of parks and coffee shops and restaurants. Our morning, afternoon and evening walks never disappointed us. Awesome experience. I was sad to leave.
Bad: Absolutely nothing. It was amazing

The hotel was impeccable. Staff was great. Food and service at Fonda Fora was wonderful (try the Tres Leches Pancakes!)! Would stay there again!
This boutique hotel by Hilton is new - only a few years old! The rooms are nice and big, with HUGE showers 🚿 with hand held or rain style and a big bench!
Rooms have robes and can ask for slippers, they all have a steamer which is amazing and you can also ask for an iron.
Fridge, big tv with Netflix, and the Fonda fora restaurant below with authentic Mexican cuisine that also doubles as room service!
They have some amazing suites that would be great for a girls night.
Oh, did I mention it's pet friendly? They have amenities for pets too! Awesome 🤩
Nearby activities: Food! Tons of restaurants all over but I encourage you to try Yemeni village it's unique and lively!
Walkability: Right downtown there is underground parking or street parking and restaurants, amenities, and transit all in walking distance. Also Ubers everywhere
Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet
Excellent stay with a few caveats.
We were upgraded to a king corner room, and it was comfortable, beautifully appointed, and immaculately clean. The hotel location is central and lends itself well to sightseeing on foot. Our interactions with staff at reception were friendly and professional.
The underground parking lot is an excellent onsite option, but there isn't a lot of space in front of the hotel to pull up to check in before heading down there. As such, we tried to navigate right to the garage using the map on the hotel website and ended up needing to call to be let in because we didn't have a key yet. The staff confirmed our reservation over the phone and let us in. The process was a bit disjointed amid an otherwsie-smooth check-in. It would be helpful if detailed parking instructions were included in the pre-stay email.
The other point of confusion was surrounding Hilton Diamond benefits. As a property based outside of the US, breakfast should be free for Diamond Member reservations. At check-in, we were informed that there was a $15 per person food and beverage benefit, not free breakfast, and the cost of breakfast at the onsite restaurant is well beyond $15 per person. This is a departure from what members expect at Hilton properties and should be specified in the pre-stay email
Despite some minor inconveniences, our stay was excellent, and we would stay at this property again.
