$8,700 Raised for the Love for Lewiston Foundation!

The Westley Hotel’s annual Lemon Light Up celebration was back and brighter than ever for its fourth year! Over the last few weeks, our lobby was once again transformed into a vibrant holiday wonderland, anchored by our signature tree beautifully adorned in white, gold, and plenty of lemons.

Inspired by the incredible work of the Love for Lewiston Foundation, this year’s milestone event brought our community together for an unforgettable night of giving, high-energy vibes, and local celebration. Thanks to the immense generosity of our guests and a generous fund-matching contribution from our hotel ownership group, we are thrilled to announce that we raised a grand total of $8,700 to support families and children impacted by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

A Night of “Calgary-Style” Flavour & Festive Fun

The energy in the lobby was unmatched this year, pulsing with a true party vibe from start to finish courtesy of DJ Dilly from SL Entertainment, who kept the room buzzing and the holiday spirit high.

Guests were treated to an amazing culinary experience provided by our very own Fonda Fora, featuring a delicious, contemporary “Taste of Calgary Style” food and beverage menu. To keep the inspiration behind the cause front and centre, the iconic Lew’s Lemonade Stand made a special appearance, serving up refreshment and reminding us all of the joyful resilience that fuels this foundation.

Community Support & The Annual Raffle

A massive highlight of the evening was our annual raffle, which featured an array of hot-ticket luxury items, unique experiences, and local treasures. This element of the night wouldn’t have been possible without the outstanding support of our community. We want to extend a huge thank you to the many incredible local businesses, suppliers, and partners who generously donated to the raffle, helping us maximize our fundraising efforts.

SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) is the number one genetic cause of infant mortality, and the Love for Lewiston Foundation seeks to find a cure for this devastating condition. The Westley Hotel is proud to partner with the Love for Lewiston Foundation, helping bring joyful experiences to families supporting someone with SMA.
