I cannot speak highly enough of my recent stay at The Westley Hotel, made unforgettable thanks to the incredible hospitality of their front desk superstar, Dianica. From the moment I called to make a last-minute booking the day before, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Not only did Dianica patiently walk me through the booking process, but she also informed me of current promotions that brought the price down—a thoughtful gesture that I deeply appreciated. During our conversation, I mentioned it was a surprise for my partner's birthday, as she had always wondered of staying at The Westley. Dianica immediately caught on to the importance of the occasion and took it upon herself to make it magical. I wanted to add a romantic touch to the room by decorating it before our arrival, but I was struggling to find the time away from my partner to pull it off. Without missing a beat, Dianica offered a rose petal package for these types of occasions—completely free of charge! She even helped arrange access for a friend to assist me with decorating the room, making what seemed impossible easy and stress-free. The surprises didn’t end there. Our stay went smoothly, but Dianica secretly elevated it to an entirely new level. Upon our late-night arrival, we discovered she had upgraded our room to a more luxurious suite—completely unexpected but so appreciated. To top it off, she included two complimentary drinks from the bar as a special birthday treat. These thoughtful gestures were done without any prompting, purely out of her desire to make our experience extraordinary. Dianica’s dedication to creating a memorable experience was heartfelt and genuine. She turned what could have been a routine hotel stay into a magical, romantic getaway that my partner and I will always cherish. Her exceptional service, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness are unmatched. To anyone considering a stay at The Westley, I cannot recommend it enough—especially if you have the pleasure of interacting with Dianica. She truly embodies what it means to go the extra mile. I don’t write a ton of hotel reviews despite the fact I’m in them every week. This place was a fantastic surprise. My usual place in Calgary was sold out and tried here. Has the boutique feel but still a Hilton. Hip cafe bar downstairs. Great service. The bed was super comfy and really nice showers. Well appointed with a modern feel. A lot of hotels now are pretty similar but this felt a bit different and more stylish and a good price. They even gave me a room super early at 10am. I think I’ve found my new hotel in Calgary.

Good: We stayed in this hotel as we were on our way to our honeymoon in Hawaii and happened to have a one day layover in Calgary. It was just at the first snow, the city had such a cosy air to it. This hotel was simply incredible. The suite was super clean and stylish. Bathrooms hyper modern, breakfast perfect. 10/10

Great hotel with nice clean rooms, amazing staff, a delicious in house Mexican fusion restaurant, and one of the best showers ever. Very great experience.
