Westley Recommends: The Calgary International Film Festival

Consider yourself a film buff? Want to take in some of the hottest, most provocative and creative new films of 2023? You’re in luck!
The 2023 Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) kicks off this year from September 21st to October 1st. Enjoy spectacular cinematography and thought-provoking content, from documentaries and international content to short films and horror flicks. For 24 years, CIFF has been dazzling audiences with innovative film content from every corner of the globe!

Screenings will take place at Cineplex Eau Claire and the infamous Globe Cinema. Walking between the two venues takes approximately 15-20 minutes, and about 10 minutes to cycle, ride a scooter, use a ride-sharing app, or drive. Parking can be a bit unpredictable downtown, so we definitely recommend using a ride-share option.
