June 25, 2024
Building on last year’s massive success, the annual BUMP Festival is coming back to Calgary this August, and it promises to be the biggest celebration of public art so far!
What is bump festival?
Since its inception in 2017 as the Beltline Urban Murals Project, the BUMP Festival has rapidly evolved into a city-wide phenomenon, championing street art as a transformative force in Calgary’s public spaces. This community-driven initiative focuses on empowering artists and enriching the local arts scene through its annual showcase of murals, graffiti works, and installations.
Each year, a diverse jury selects from a pool of local, national, and international talent to contribute to BUMP’s vibrant exhibitions across the city.
